Melissa Oberholzer from PinnacleHPC makes a difference for seriously ill children and their families.

As Melissa Oberholzer tied the knot last September, she and her partner Simon Zanotto took it as an opportunity to give back. Melissa is a Manager at Griffith NSW based accounting firm PinnacleHPC: www.pinnaclehpc.com.au

The couple made a donation in lieu of bonbonniere to help support the seriously ill children and their families that rely on Ronald McDonald House Charities GWS. Over 2,000 families from regional and rural Australia stay at Ronald McDonald House Westmead each year whilst their seriously ill child receives hospital care and treatment.

Over 20 years ago, Melissa’s partner Simon was in fact one of those families who called Ronald McDonald House their home when his sister was unwell. Melissa said “It meant more to us to give back to a place that supported them when they needed the help all those years ago!”.

It’s generous people like Melissa and Simon that help keep the doors to Ronald McDonald House open every day.
